Scientific lab report: ice-cream in a bag
Hypothesis
I think that it will stay as milk.
We are doing this experiment because …
we want to see what happens when salt is added to ice and if Ice-cream can be made with only a few
ingredients.
- Materials/equipment used: Milk, sugar, ice, salt, vanilla,
- Cup
- Spoons
- Snaplock bags 2 different sizes
Procedure
- In a small resealable plastic bag, combine whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. Push out excess air and seal.
- Into a large resealable plastic bag, combine ice and salt. Place small bag inside the bigger bag and shake vigorously, 7 to 10 minutes, until ice cream has hardened.
- Remove from bag and enjoy.
Results
It turned into ice cream
The liquid was runny
It looked like frozen yogurt
Data and analysis
Tayla's group was different because there's was runny and ours was ice-cream.
Some peoples was liquid and runny.
Conclusion
It was runny at first then when we started shaking it with the ice then it started to turn into ice-cream. I learnt that u can make ice-cream with a little bit of ingredients.
